Since the start of the Covid pandemic, anti-Asian racism and overt Asian hate crimes have been on the rise. Nonprofits across the nation are stepping up to combat the injustice and hatred. Robert Kurzban highlights how Atlanta Run Club is doing their part:
For every mile they run, the Atlanta Run Club is donating $1 to nonprofit organizations that support Asian-Americans. So far, they’ve already raised nearly $20,000 for Asian Americans Advancing Justice. The Run Club made the decision to raise funds for the organization in response to the recent attacks on Asian-Americans.
If you’d like to get involved in fighting back against the racial injustice Asian-Americans are being faced with, Robert Kurzban encourages you to support nonprofits that champion AAAJ’s cause. If you are unable to do so, please consider volunteering your time or raising awareness online with the use of the hashtag #StopAsianHate.
